The Samsung Premiere 2013 event will take place on Thursday with tech. fans expecting a number of high profile unveilings and releases at the event. The full Samsung Premiere 2013 event from London will commence at 2 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The event is assumed to be the launch event for the new Galaxy and ATIV devices – so fans can expect some major announcements concerning both Android and Windows.
However, it must be noted that Samsung has not officially indicated which devices will be released and unveiled at the show, so all information is rumor and not officially confirmed.
But most analysts are expecting ATIV ultrabooks, ATIV smartphones and a variety of Galaxy S4 variants to be featured at the event.
Also the Galaxy S4 Active is finally expected to be unveiled at the Samsung Premiere 2013 event. Samsung has already confirmed the existence of the Active, however, it has not been fully shown off yet to the world.
Many smartphone lovers are anticipating the launch of the Active device, which is a variant of the standard Galaxy S4, but is built to survive being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes, in addition to being dropped from heights.
The Galaxy S4 Active is expected to feature a 5-inch 1080p display at 443 pixels-per-inch and a 1.9GHz quad-core processor.
The Active will likely be released with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, as well as featuring an 8-megapixel camera.
There have also been reported that the smartphone will have a built in "aqua mode" which will allow the device to take top underwater photos.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom may also make an appearance at the event. The smartphone is in fact a new smartphone-camera hybrid. It will be slightly less powerful than most other S4 smartphone models though.
Analysts are expecting the Galaxy S4 Zoom to be released with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960 x 540. It will also be powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM.
The feature that most are talking about though is that the Galaxy S4 Zoom will feature a 10x Optical Zoom.
Meanwhile, Samsung has not revealed much about its new ATIV products. The company's ATIV brand has previously been used for Windows 8 convertible laptops and tablets, as well as on Windows 8 smartphones.
Most suspect that Samsung will unveil updates to each of its ATIV products at the London event.
