Samsung's Smart Hub TVs are expected to debut at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The company released a new video advertisement this week that shows this new line of TVs. The ad ends by displaying the CES logo indicating that Samsung will debut these new TVs during the event.

This Smart TV is expected to measure at 55-inches.

The new Smart Hub line promises to make the interface on the set easier to use and will also serve as a content platform as it will be able to handle broadcast television as well as on-demand TV shows and movies. It also will be able to browse photos and will have support for various apps.

This information derived from recent images released by Samsung on its Flickr account.

Apple also may unveil a new TV this year as the company has dropped many hints regarding it.

The sets will range from 46-55-inches in size, according to a recent report from the Central News Agency in Taiwan.

Foxconn is currently working with Apple to test several designs for these Apple television sets.

The source also stated that Apple might be looking to also display its first developed TV at the Consumer Electronics Show set to take place in Las Vegas next month.

However, that seems unlikely, since Apple normally holds its own unveilings and avoids making appearances at other popular technology trade shows.

Other reports have stated that Apple launching its new line of TVs in 2013 is unlikely, so it would be pointless for the company to try to show something off at CES.

Cook first hinted at Apple putting out a TV in the near future during his interview on "Rock Center."

After being asked "what's next for Apple" by the show's host Brian Williams, Cook replied with an interesting answer.

"When I go into my living room and turn on the TV, I feel like I have gone backwards in time by 20 to 30 years," Cook told Williams. "It's an area of intense interest. I can't say more than that."
