'Scandal' Season 3 Spoilers: Cast Rumors Indicate Lisa Kudrow Will Join as Fans Await Premiere Date

As excitement continues to build around Season 3 of ABC hit drama "Scandal," new spoilers have indicated that the cast of the show is set to expand, with former "Friends" star, Lisa Kudrow, set to join the team.

Lisa Kudrow is best known for her role as the guitar-toting New York hippie on the long running NBC comedy "Friends."

While she hasn't had another long-running television role since the show was canceled, Kudrow has appeared in numerous movies including "Easy A," and both "Analyze This" and "Analyze That."

Lisa Kudrow's role on ABC's "Scandal" will be recurring, though more details of her role are being kept secret for now, according to Deadline. However, one piece of information about Kudrow's role has been released, and it appears that the actress will be playing the role of a politician.

Much of what season 3 has in store is being kept under wraps in an effort to keep fan anticipation high, but a few details have been released, including the fact that season three will have much more Huck than previous seasons.

Guillermo Diaz, who plays Huck, recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his role in the upcoming season.

"The last we saw of Huck, he was sort of hesitant of torturing Billy Chambers. And Quinn took a liking to Huck's drill ... A lot of questions will be answered. We're going to get some flashback episodes. You're going to get find out more about Huck's relationships before he worked for OPA with Olivia. Stuff you didn't know before," the actor said to Entertainment Weekly.
