"He knows what it was like when he first killed someone and he's still addicted to it, so he's like, 'Oh my God, what have I done? I taught her all this stuff and I talked to her about it and brought her with me, and she likes it and is possibly better at it than I am.' Only in the way that she's not afraid to just jump in there and do it."

"Huck is always going to have the skills," he added. "He's a lot more skilled at it than she is. He doesn't really know what to do. We sense he's at a bit of a loss. 'What do I do? How do I fix this?' She's off and running and he doesn't know if there's a way to bring her back."

Katie Lowes spoke about what attracts Quinn to Huck, and what is coming next for the relationship.

"We haven't yet begun to see the full lines she will cross. She's definitely crossing lines. And crossing lines, as an actress on the show, I'm scared. I'm so ready to go there. I will go anywhere Shonda Rhimes wants me to go any day of the week as long as Quinn doesn't die. Just keep her alive. I will be evil, I will kill people, I will do whatever you want. I will lie and cheat and steal, just keep Quinn alive," the actress said.

Scandal airs on Thursdays on ABC at 10/9c.
