'Scandal' Season 3 Spoilers: Olivia's Father Gets a Bigger Role, Huck's Secrets Revealed

A huge question mark hung over last season after viewers saw Oliva's father arrive, but had no idea what would come next as to their relationship. But it seems season 3 will attempt to clarify those questions.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "Scandal" executive producer Shonda Rimes said Olivia and her father's relationship will be heavily featured this season. She likens Olivia's father and season 3 to the Quinn Perkins cliffhanger in season one.

The father story-arc functions "in the same way that at the end of season one, the question of who is Quinn Perkins set up season two. It turned out that Quinn Perkins is this girl whose building blew up went to we fixed an entire presidential election," Rimes said.
And it seems "Scandal" fans will get much more Huck this season. Guillermo Diaz, who plays Huck, spoke to Entertianment Weekly about his role in the upcoming season.
"The last we saw of Huck, he was sort of hesitant of torturing Billy Chambers. And Quinn took a liking to Huck's drill ... A lot of questions will be answered. We're going to get some flashback episodes. You're going to get find out more about Huck's relationships before he worked for OPA with Olivia. Stuff you didn't know before," the actor said.
