A promotional video for the upcoming segment shows Pope getting herself involved in yet another dangerous situation.

"I'm here to help you," the crisis manager speaks with the father, "I thought we could talk."

Meanwhile, scenes from the teaser also feature Pope apparently exhibiting some signs of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), probably caused by previous tragic events, as evident with the tremors in her hands.

TVGuide also reported that an unfortunate event will occur in the nation's capital which consequently garners national attention.

The White House crisis would also involve handling the "problematic Vice President."

In a related "Scandal" news, Melty.com reports that Henry Ian Cusick, who plays ex-Gladiator Stephen Finch, might soon be back into the show.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actor revealed: "It was completely unexpected, but I was delighted to bring Stephen out of the box once again ... I had no idea what Shonda had in store for Stephen, I knew I would do it anyway -- but I am so pleased that she gave me a kick ass story line!"

"Scandal" Season 4 airs Thursday, 9 p.m. on ABC.
