Fall 2017 TV Premiere Dates

Numerous shows are returning or have returned for the fall TV season after quite a long hiatus. Listed below are a few fan-favorites that one should look out for this season.

Earlier this month, the small screen saw the premieres of hair-raising favorites including Netflix's crime drama "Narcos," which returned for its third season run on the first of Friday, Sept. 1.FX's anthology "American Horror Story" with its allusion to the 2016 U.S. elections, "Cult," premiered on Tuesday, Sept. 5. The show airs at 10 p.m. ET on FX. Another nightmarish drama "Fear the Walking Dead" opened with its third season on Sept. 10. The spinoff airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET AMC. The original series opens next month on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. ET

The Freddie Highmore-led drama about an autistic surgeon, "The Good Doctor," debuted on Monday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. ET while the network's hit veteran medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" opened on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET.

This week CBS was busy launching the premieres of "Star Trek: Discovery," their hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory," and a preview of its spinoff series "Young Sheldon."

The first season of "Discovery" starring "The Walking Dead" alum Sonequa Martin-Green is on Sunday nights at 8:30 p.m. ET while Jim Parson's quirky physicist Sheldon and his friends are on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. The spinoff which features Iain Armitage as the nine-year-old Sheldon premieres Thursday, Nov. 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

This October, The CW will add their DC-based shows "Supergirl," "The Flash," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," and "Arrow" to their fall lineup. The Girl of Steel returns on Monday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. ET, while the "Scarlet Speedster" zooms back on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET. The Legends will follow shortly at 9 p.m. ET. As for "Oliver Queen" and what is left of his team, they will return on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

Last year's instant hits "Riverdale" and "Stranger Things" will air their second installments also in the month of Oct. The Archie-inspired series returns Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. on The CW while the Duffer brothers' the 70.s and 80s-inspired thriller returns Friday, Oct. 27.
