Selena Gomez recently confirmed that she is single weeks after she was photographed spending time with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
In a recent interview with Kiss 108 radio station, the 20-year-old singer and actress was asked about her relationship status.
"So sometimes you may see a boy walking down the street and he says, 'Let's grab an ice cream,' you're available," the radio host asked Gomez, to which she replied, "Yep."
"By the way, that would be awesome if someone asked if I wanted ice cream because that would be cool," Gomez continued after reiterating that she is "completely available in every way."
Fans of Gomez were stunned to learn that the former Disney star had flown out to Norway April 18 for a romantic reunion with Bieber, 19. He posted a series of intimate photographs of the on-and-off couple in recent weeks, which fueled reports of a reconciliation.
The Hollywood stars split after two years of dating in December, and while a source claims the pair is not officially back together, they are said to be working on their relationship.
"Selena and Justin are taking things slow. They want to make sure if they get back together, they can do it right," the source told HollywoodLife.com, adding that they "are still obsessed with each other."
Friends of the pair are said to be opposed to any type of reconciliation following reports that Gomez was left shattered after their split.
"We did everything we could to keep them apart but he was so persistent. It's really unhealthy they have such a turbulent relationship at such a young age, " a source told The Sun U.K.
"He leaves her in floods of tears constantly. She has had a really difficult year or so dealing with the tense emotions that come with dating him. We thought she had finally broken free," the source continued.
