Selena Gomez has fans talking by drastically changing her hair style, adding purple and blue highlights.

Gomez has been seen at the Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood, California, according to Eonline, in an effort to give herself a completely new and fresh look.

The brunette has tried to go for a more edgy look by adding the blue and purple colors. However, it has also been reported that she was weary of permanently dying her hair, and damaging it by opting for such drastic changes. Therefore, the new colors seen are in the form of long extensions.

Gomez’s boyfriend Justin Bieber has also been in the media recently for adding a new Jesus tattoo to his previous one. Although it is unclear when Bieber received the new tattoo on his calf, it was clearly visible as he spent the day with his father in Los Angeles.

The Hebrew tattoo reads, "Yeshua," which is Hebrew for Jesus. He got the ink at the same time as his father while in Israel.

Many have applauded the singer's willingness to display and openly talk about his faith in Christ to whoever is willing to listen. The Mirror reports that Bieber in the past has said, “I’m a Christian; I believe in God, I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins.”

“I believe that I have a relationship and I'm able to talk to him and really, he's the reason I'm here, so I definitely have to remember that,” Bieber said. “As soon as I start forgetting, I've got to click back and be like, you know, this is why I'm here.”
