'Sleepy Hollow' Season 2 Spoilers: Will Katrina Be Saved From Illness?

"Sleepy Hollow" is an American supernatural, police drama television series based on the 1820 short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washinton Irving. However, the series is considered to be a modern-day retelling of the short story with the added concept from Rip Van Winkle, also written by Irving.

The series first premiered on Oct. 3, 2013 and was renewed for a second season which premiered on Sept. 22 last month and will run for 18 episodes.

Episode 7 of the second season will be premiering on November 3 and is titled "Deliverance." Apparently, Katrina has suffered a mysterious ailment and while Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills have found some means to keep her safe for a while, they would have to turn to an enemy to save Katrina.

While it has been revealed that it was War (Henry Parish)'s fault Katrina has befallen ill, Abraham (The Horseman of Death) doesn't seem to know that it was his compatriot's own evil doing that his love is sick with an incurable disease.

Katrina manages to escape the two Horsemen's attempt to take her back to Frederick's Manor – at Moloch's command – and is found by Crane and Mills where she is taken to the safety of the Archives. Meanwhile, Crane looks into Benjamin Franklin's notebooks for clues and finds that the origins of his wife's ailments come from the secret society known as The Hellfire Club.

Apparently, in hope of finding a cure they must turn to the most unlikely of sources, probably from an enemy.
In the meantime, despite Ichabod and Katrina's close proximity between each other, recent events have driven an emotional wedge between them. Also, while Ichabod discovers that his son is the Horseman of War and finds a way to redeem his soul, he still remains aware of the fact that his son is indeed the Horseman of War.
