'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Abbie And Ichabod Face Their Demons

True to what they promised, the Season 3 premiere of Fox's hit supernatural drama TV series "Sleepy Hollow" did see the return of the show to its fun roots. Fans were finally able to see this season's newest villain, Pandora, who is played by Shannyn Sossamon. In the next episode, viewers will get to see more of Pandora's wickedness.

Titled "Whispers In The Dark," the synopsis provided over at The Futon Critic said that Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) might find themselves in a situation in which they will need to face their respective pasts.

Despite the scarcity of the segment's details, a promo video, this time shared at Design & Trend, offers a better look into the events that will take place in Episode 2.

The trailer shows Pandora chanting over something and from it appeared what seems to be a hideous shadow being. As expected from the duo, Mills and Crane once again hit the archives to figure out a way to deal with the demon which is now wreaking havoc on people, piercing them with its shadow tentacle.

In the video, Crane declared that the only way to defeat the supernatural being is by shooting it with an arrow that is blessed by a high priest. Abbie juts in to say that it might not be that easy to acquire that kind of service from the clergy "on such short notice."

The highlight reel also featured the arrival of Daniel Reynolds (Lance Gross), the FBI agent who replaces Abbie's boss who got killed in the season opening by a fear-inducing monster.

What is interesting is that Reynolds turns out to have a common past with Abbie. They are, in fact, former lovers who got entangled in a rather short affair back at Quantico.

Catch more of these exciting developments when "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 airs Thursday, 9 p.m., on Fox.
