Since Abbie had gone through the portal in order to save her sister Jenny, as well as Joe and Ichabod Crane, it was reported that Jenny will have a hard time dealing with the absence of her sister. Greenwood added, "That's all she really has left as far as family — well, family that she knows very well. So she is very concerned with getting her sister back. I like the fact that we are seeing this type of relationship represented in mainstream media. We've got two sisters of color that are both strong women who are there for each other, who have been through a lot, and who have nothing but support and love for each other."

However, it was revealed that Jenny will not be alone during her time of sorrow. It was hinted that she and Joe will become closer since Abbie is gone. The midseason finale showed Joe professing her love for Jenny, which then led to the two kissing. With that, fans are excited to see where their relationship will take them in the episodes to come.

"Sleepy Hollow" season 3 airs on FOX every Friday.
