Sony Xperia Z6 Specs Tipped to Include Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, Android Marshmallow, 4 GB of RAM
It has not been long yet since Sony released the Xperia Z5 but rumors about the Xperia Z6 are pouring in already. According to Latinos Health, the said device could be unveiled very soon as there are several reports floating around that it will come during the Mobile World Congress 2016.
MWC 2016 is scheduled to commence on Feb. 22 until Feb. 25. If rumors are true, the Xperia Z6 will make an early appearance. However, PC Advisor noted that an early release seems unlikely. Just recently, the Japanese tech giant realized that releasing a new product every six months is too regular. If the rumored upcoming flagship successor will arrive in February, it will have a six-month gap from IFA 2015.
The source cited that an interview conducted by Sony Xperia PL with one of the company's designers strongly suggested that the Z6 will come in the second half of 2016, perhaps sometime in September during IFA 2016.

"We always work very hands-on with the future. We are already working on 2016 second half, 17 and 18," said Sony's Art Director Rikke Gertsen Constein.
In terms of the device's specs, rumors point out that it will carry Qualcomm's newest processor which is the Snapdragon 820. Mobipicker detailed that the chipset was just recently released and it features the company's new generation, custom-designed, 64-bit application processor core which it called Kyro. It also comes with a higher performance Adreno graphics processor unit suggesting that the Z6 will be better than ever in terms of performance.
The upcoming device is also said to be equipped with 4 GB of RAM and will run with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right off the box. It is also expected to sport a USB Type C port for a microSD to expand storage. Android Standard reported that it may feature a 5.5-inches IPS Triluminos display with 4K Resolution along with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 as protection.
Sources say that it's a little too early to say the price of the smartphone but there are speculations that the Sony Xperia Z6 will have a starting price of $800.
