Starling, Brickman, and Timmons to perform for USO troops

The teamwork to vocally spread the holiday cheer continues between Kristy Starling, Jim Brickman, and Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees). After it was confirmed that the three along other music artists will join together to perform for the Jim Brickman and Friends Holiday Concert Tour, the trio will first perform for the USO’s "Sending You A Little Christmas" special event and Operation Care Package initiative on November 19. The naming of the event was based on Kristy Starling’s “Send You A Little Christmas” on Brickman’s current Peace Christmas album and was chosen as the program's official campaign anthem

Being invited by the USO, the three will voice their support through the four-song set they will perform to over 500 military troops as part of their deployment overseas on November 19. The performance for the troops will take place at Baltimore, Maryland’s BWI International Airport.

The trio will then continue their performance in the assembly line of the USO's Operation Care Package. Sharing more than just their talent, the three will also help hand out care packages to a group of returning soldiers that same day.

Fans and families of soldiers can watch the entire performance through the international media coverage of the Armed Forces Network, which will air it internationally over the AFN television network. On a national level, CNN, Access Hollywood, and Extra! will also broadcast the event.

"It is such an honor for me to have been chosen to sing for the USO send off," says Starling. "I am so thankful for the brave men and woman of our armed forces who give of themselves everyday. This song speaks not only to the troops overseas, but also the families who wait so unselfishly for their loved ones to return home. My hope is that hearing this song eases their minds and helps them to know that they are loved by friends and family, near and far."

The next day after their anticipated performance for the troops, the three will join Anne Cochran, and electric violinist Tracy Silverman to kick-off Jim Brickman and Friends Holiday Concert Tour. The tour will visit 30 cities but Brickman and Starling will still find time to appear on the Christmas program of NBC’s Today show to perform "Sending You A Little Christmas."
