Stella McCartney Amazes Rihanna With New Collection

Rihanna attended a Stella McCartney Special Presentation during London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012 at London's One Mayfair on Saturday, Feb. 18.

The young singer was delighted to be in attendance, tweeting, "Its all about London right now!!!"

Saturday marked Stella McCartney's return to London Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter 2012 season.

Rihanna simply declared, "It was fab," according to Reuters.

McCartney's collection contained marble patterns and deep blue, turquoise and orange, along with floral prints and gathered puffy skirts.

According to Reuters, McCartney said, "It's London, it's Britain. It's celebrating everything that is bold and irreverent about being a British brand."

Fashion celebrities were fascinated by McCartney's collection, as she avoided a regular formal catwalk show for an acrobatic display of models jumping from table to table and dancing on chairs. The unique presentation was roundly praised, and critics were left in no doubt over the celebrity approval towards the British designer's latest collection.

The event took place on the same day as Whitney Houston's funeral, and Rihanna was sure to write about one of her great inspirations for her career. "#DearWhitney your Legend, your spirit and your music will live with us for EVER!!! Impossible to forget you, you were the greatest!"

She added, "#1LOVE. Can't wait to get to my room and put #DearWhitney on full blast!!!!"
