'Street Fighter V' Season 2 DLC New Characters Rumors: Azam, Won Won Are Possibilities

Kolin previously confirmed to be newest DLC character coming to 'Street Fighter V'

With Kolin recently confirmed to be the next "Street Fighter V" downloadable content character, it won't be long before many fans will wonder about who may be next, and recent rumors have put forth some intriguing possibilities.

In a recent report, EventHubs talked a bit about how "Final Fight 2's" Won Won could be the next character announced for the game.

The website cited Twitter user "NewWorldOrder" who showed how Won Won's cleaver could be included in the silhouette image teasing the other Season 2 DLC characters.

The emergence of a CFN profile for Won Won and him featuring a unique fighting style could also work for him in terms of getting him a spot on the fighting game's roster, EventHubs noted.

Adding Won Won would require the developers to reach outside of the "Street Fighter" universe. However, if they wanted to stay within their own realm - just as they did with the recently revealed Kolin - then there may be another character who could be worth considering as a possible Season 2 DLC addition.

Over on Reddit, fans have already begun pointing to Azam as a possible new roster member.

What makes Azam so interesting and potentially intriguing for the developers is that he is still somewhat of a blank slate.

Azam made his debut in "Street Fighter V," and there's very little known about his background, as can be seen in his Wiki entry.

If the game's developers want another character they can build up from scratch, then Azam could be just the man they are looking for.

In any case, it will likely take some time before developers announce who the next "Street Fighter V" DLC character will be, and while fans wait, they can go ahead and try out Kolin inside the game as soon as she is officially released on Feb. 28.
