Warner Brothers debuted a new trailer featuring Suicide Squad's villainess, Harley Quinn. The trailer focuses on the Clown Princess, which has never been seen before.

Harley Quinn was first seen in "The Batman: The Animated Series" and became so popular after that. She is best known as "the Joker's girlfriend" and has a unique story of her own. Her real name is Harleen Frances Quinzel, MD and was an Arkham Asylum psychiatrist who fell in love with her patient, the Joker, who then became his accomplice.

In a recent interview, writer/director David Ayer reported that Harley is a representation of the many dichotomies in the world today where everything is sensitive, she does not care. He also added that Harley transcends everything. He further stated that she is a powerful woman who is living her life in her own terms.

This goes to show that there will be a Harley Quinn movie in the future, together with the announcement from Warner Bros. of a spinoff including Batgirl and the Birds of Prey. However, at this time, there are no further details yet about the Harley Quinn movie, and it is not known on who will be on board the production.

"Suicide Squad" is joined by Will Smith who plays Deadshot, Rick Flag is Joel Kinnaman, Jared Leto plays the Joker, and Jai Courtney is Boomerang. Other characters include Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as the Enchantress and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne. Killer Croc is portrayed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje while Raymond Olubawale is King Shark, Jay Hernandez is El Diablo, Common plays Monster T and Slipknot is portrayed by Adam Beach.

"Suicide Squad" is directed by David Ayers, and there are reports that Warner Bros. wants Ayers to direct "Suicide Squad 2." That is still far from being realized, so in the meantime, "Suicide Squad" is set to premiere this coming Aug. 5, 2016 in theaters.
