Super Smash Bros 4 Characters: Kirby Blasts Off in Latest Picture

The latest Super Smash Bros 4 pic of the day features one of everybody's favorite characters Kirby blasting off on a Dragoon.

The picture was posted in the MiiVerse by the game's director Masahiro Sakurai earlier today. See it here.

"Just the target screen felt lacking so here's a pic of the Dragoon itself," he said. "I wanna get on it. I wanna get on and ride it."

He also released a photo that showed off the Dragoon targeting Donkey Kong. See it here.

"Uniting three parts will complete the legendary Air Ride machine… the Dragoon! It's back! But we didn't just leave it the way it was, and added some nice touches to the design of the targeting screen," he said. "It is, of course, in stereoscopic 3D on the 3DS," wrote Sakurai.

Other pictures from this week featured a level that could be inspired by Mike Tyson's Punchout as it was a large ring that had many explosions occurring around it.

"And you can attack the lights and have them fall to the ground," he said. "That makes things dark. The lights are way up high, but even Little Mac can get up there by jumping off the ropes."

He also released a picture of the ring before the lights were taken out.

"You can get up on the lights of this special ring. It's a perfect secret hiding space," the caption reads.

Last week, Sakurai used the picture of the day site to show off some new Assist Trophies that will be available in the new Smash Bros. title. They both featured a character known as Dillon from Dillon's Rolling Western.

"We didn't introduce all the Assist Trophies in the Smash Bros. Direct. Here's Dillon from Dillon's Rolling Western!! He may rival Sonic in the art of rolling," said Sakurai.
