'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 9 Spoilers: Kara Tries to Avoid Inquisition From Cat Grant

When Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) finally cornered Kara (Melissa Benoist) at the end of the winter finale of "Supergirl" about her assistant's secret identity as National City's caped superhero, Kara tried her best to deny the truth to her boss. In the upcoming midseason premiere of the show tomorrow, Jan. 4, the female lead is seen still trying to deflect Cat Grant's continuous inquisition.

In the sneak peek of the next episode, which is titled "Blood Bonds," Kara is seen telling James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and Winn Schott Jr. (Jeremy Jordan) that they all should act "not just normal, normal, but super normal, normal." Winn and James are puzzled on what Kara's rattling about, and Kara finally tells them that their boss knows that she is Supergirl. Kara promises that she'll handle it, and asks the two guys to not act weird with her.

Although it's Kara's plan to keep everything "normal," she is seen very plastered, and even messed up the coffee that she usually "reheats" without a problem. Cat soon arrives in the scene, and when Kara tells her that she's just indeed a "normal" and "boring person," the CEO can't help to chuckle against Kara's denial.
