'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 8 Spoilers: Dean Finally Meets Sam's Imaginary Friend, Sully

The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "Supernatural" will be taking a break from the increasingly chaotic storyline involving The Darkness and its embodiment, Amara (Emily Swallow), when it returns early next month for its eighth episode titled "Just My Imagination."

According to the spoiler report from International Business Times, the long-running TV program will temporarily be focusing on a new "Monster of the Week" case. This time around, brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) will be dealing with some apparitions.

Citing the synopsis over at The Futon Critic, it is said that the younger Winchester will be surprised when his childhood imaginary friend, Sully (guest star Nate Torrence), suddenly shows up. What makes the situation even bizarre is the fact that his older brother can also see who is supposed to be a figment of Sam's imagination.

The report indicated that fans might be able to find out more about Sam's friendship with Sully in several flashback scenes as well as the reason for his reappearance.

A sneak peek further gave hints as to what's to come in the episode. As it turns out, Sully is asking for the brothers' help to solve a string of murders, not of the people, but of a slew of imaginary friends who were created by children.

The clip shows how happy the children were with their "pals," two of whom were a unicorn and a mermaid, until a mysterious figure began killing these entities which left the kids horrified. In one scene, Sully and the duo are looking over at a murdered mermaid.

It sure would be interesting to see how the Winchesters and their companion are able to put a stop to this different kind of killing.

"Supernatural" Season 11 Episode 8 titled "Just My Imagination" airs Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
