'Supernatural' Season 11 News, Cast, Spoilers: Padalecki Discusses Nature of Sam's Visions

"Supernatural" has remained stronger than ever despite being on its 11th season. Fans who continuously support the show are not only loyal to the characters but to the actors who portray them as well. It is perhaps why the show has been able to stay and retain a succesful pace during its run.

This season's story line is perhaps most unexpected due to the nature of the enemy that the Winchesters, alongside Cas, are trying to fight. The Darkness being an ancient force that precedes the angels makes it much more difficult for the boys to find out information that they can use to defeat her. This lack of information is made worse by the fact that The Darkness somehow has an inexplicable bond with Dean. While Dean is dealing with this secret on his own, Sam, on the other hand, has his own — his unknown visions.

Many have started to wonder what and where Sam's visions are coming from, but the show doesn't seem to be giving any clues. With the number of supernatural beings that the Winchesters have come across, it's hard to tell at this point. Luckily, Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam, shared some news about this at the recent Creation Entertainment's "Salute to Supernatural" in Pasadena. At some point in this video, as Enstarz reports, he says about his visions, "Let's just say this — you're on the right track knowing that it's not Dad. Not young Dad, not old Dad, not normal Dad. Not any Dad."

Jensen Ackles, who portrays Dean, also tells that fans already know the answer. Padalecki further adds when fans can expect to get answers on the show, "You will find out very, very soon. In fact, once we get past Richard Speight's episode we're going to find out." This means that everything will be revealed by episode 9, which is entitled "O Brother Where Are Thou?" The episode will also be featuring the topic of the cage where Michael, Lucifer, and the body of Sam and Dean's half brother, Adam, are currently in.

The next episode will be entitled "Plush" as season 11 of "Supernatural" airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
