'Supernatural' Season 11 News, Spoilers: Jared Padalecki Confirmed for Upcoming Chapter, 'Darkness' Awaits the Winchester Brothers

A lot of fans were worried that the co-lead actor for The CW's long-running TV drama series "Supernatural" may not be returning next season. However, that isn't the case.

Earlier in May, Jared Padalecki took to his social media to announce about some "urgent" family business that he needs to attend to. The said issue hindered him from coming to the conventions he often doesn't miss.

"Dear #JIBCON and #AHBL6. I am in desperate and urgent need of my family. I am so sorry to tell you this but I must head home," the actor who plays Sam Winchester said on his Twitter post. "I need all of the love I can get right now. Please please give me a few seconds of your time and write me. #AlwaysKeepFighting."

His manager explained that the actor needed some time off with his family and is actually enthusaistic about the filming of the show's upcoming chapter.

"Jared has pushed himself to his limits and is suffering from exhaustion. His SPN family is so important to him, and he asks that they Always Keep Fighting. At this time he needs to be home with his family," Padalecki's rep told Enstars in a statement. "He's doing better already and is excited about shooting Supernatural Season 11 this July. For now he's taking a break, but is so appreciative of his fans, and sees and feels their love and support."

Here are some details as to what Season 11 holds.

Mark Pedrowitz, CW President, said that the forthcoming season certainly won't be the last of "Supernatural."

"I'm a big believer and a big fan of the show, and as long as the ratings hold and as long as the boys want to do it, we'll do it," the network executive told VC Post.

However, as for the show itself, thing's won't go down well for the Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam, especially after the "Darkness" thing that erupted towards the end of Season 10.

"For the boys, things are going to go from bad to worse," cast member Jeremy Carver said in a new trailer for Season 11.

The all new season of "Supernatural" is slated to premiere in the fall of this year.
