Cruise, 50, agreed to give Holmes, 33, primary custody of their 6-year-old daughter and the actor has been granted strict visitation rights. Holmes' appointed nanny and bodyguards must be present during every visit, according to Radar Online.

"Katie insisted that Suri's nanny and bodyguards always accompany her when she visits Tom. Katie did this for several reasons. This will ensure a smooth and easy transition for Suri when she is with Tom," a source told Radar.

"Suri is Katie's number one priority. Tom only has Scientologists that work for him and Katie insisted that her staff will always be with their daughter. Under terms of the settlement, Suri isn't permitted to be exposed to anything Scientology related and this includes going to any Scientology churches, parties, etc. Katie made sure that this was ironclad in the agreement," the insider added.

Holmes abruptly ended her five year marriage to Cruise on June 28- a move which reportedly blindsided the "Rock of Ages" actor. New reports suggest that the actress left him over his deep rooted involvement with Scientology.

Cruise, who is a devout Scientologist, reportedly made plans to send Suri to a radical Scientology organization known as the Sea Organization (Sea Org), according to TMZ.com.

The Sea Org is composed of adults and minors who have committed their lives to the volunteer service of their religion, and various ex-members have blasted the organization and its practices as being unhealthy.

Holmes, who was raised by Catholic parents, reportedly became involved with Scientology after she married Cruise only to please him.

"Look, Katie led a very ordinary and honest life before she met Tom and tried to continue to do so during the time she was with him. Katie is level headed and extremely smart. She was never completely committed to Scientology, but she participated because she truly was in love with Tom and she knew it meant a lot to him," a source said.

Holmes has now reportedly enrolled Suri in a Catholic school after turning to her parents Kathleen and Martin Holmes for support throughout her divorce ordeal.
