Switchfoot: Wins Album Of The Year

Switchfoot has won Album of the Year in the 2004 Campus Life Readers' Choice Christian Music Awards for The Beautiful Letdown.

Switchfoot, critically acclaimed rock band, has won Album of the Year in the 2004 Campus Life Readers' Choice Christian Music Awards of THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN.

The exceptional artistry of THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN has also brought Switchfoot seven 2004 Dove Award nominations. They include Song of the Year ("Meant To Live"), and Artist of the Year, plus Group of the Year, Rock Recorded Song ("Ammunition"), two nods for Rock/Contemporary Song ("Gone," "Meant To Live"), and Rock/Contemporary Album (THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN).
Switchfoot continues to dominate mainstream radio as "Dare You To Move" becomes the NO 1 most added on Billboard Modern Rock Radio chart. On March 12, Switchfoot will perform it on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The band also visits On Air with Ryan Seacrest on March 16.
On March 23, Switchfoot releases LIVE IN SAN DIEGO, its first concert DVD. The disc features the band performing a sold-out hometown concert along with interviews about THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN and behind the scenes footage from the "Meant To Live" video shoot.
