The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play the Miami Dolphins in an NFL Preseason 2013 game on Saturday night, with the Dolphins' fans hoping their team can show a significant improvement in form following a lackluster preseason showing so far. The game will start at 7.30 p.m. and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Dolphins have already played three games this preseason, but what we've seen so far has seen Miami fall short of where they will want to be come the start of the regular season.
Miami have shown some resolve and fight but have ultimately come up short against strong opposition. They have so far only won one of their three games this preseason, a 27-3 win against Jacksonville. However, when they've come up against stronger opposition they came out on the wrong side of the result; losing 20-24 to the Dallas Cowboys, and 17-24 to Houston.
All three of their preseason games have been on the road until now, but they finally return home for today's game and will remain here as well for next week's game against New Orleans before the regular season kicks off on the road at Cleveland on Sept. 8.
Jonas Gray has shown some flair this preseason for the Dolphins, going 87 yards with 25 carries for an average gain of 3.5 yards. He has scored two touchdowns, which bears well for Miami going into the regular season.
The Dolphins will be hoping to get back to winning ways again tonight against a Buccaneers team that has also been sorely lacking so far this preseason.
Tampa Bay have lost both their preseason games coming into this match up. They were demolished 16-44 by Baltimore in their preseason opener in front of their home crowd. Then last week they traveled to New England where they put on a much better show, but still ultimately came up short, losing 21-25.
They will be hoping to continue their improvement, and hopefully gain a win on the road against Miami tonight.
