'Teen Mom' Jenelle Evans and Fiancé Gary Head Arrested, Jailed After Fight

Jenelle Evans and her on-again-off-again fiancé Gary Head were arrested and jailed on Saturday following a domestic violence incident.

The MTV reality TV personality has made her recurring feuds with Head a plotline on the controversial "Teen Mom" reality TV series, and the mother of one called police after he allegedly assaulted her and consequently the pair was both charged, according to Radar Online.

"Gary beat the s--- out of Jenelle. He strangled her with a bed sheet," a source close to Evans told Radar.

"When the cops arrived they asked Jenelle what happened, and if she hit him and she told them, 'F--- yeah I did, I hit him back,'" the friend added.

Evans was arrested on the spot and with is likely to be charged with felony assault for the severity of the alleged crime.

Police also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the home, which led to Evans' arrest.

The troubled teen was reportedly "really shook up" by the incident, and the source insists that "the drugs were not found anywhere near Jenelle."

Evans' attorney confirmed the arrest and explained that she has since been released from prison.

"[Jenelle] got into a domestic dispute. Jenelle called the cops two or three times on Saturday and Sunday. She has been released from jail," Dustin Sullivan said.

Evans characteristically took to Twitter to share the events of the evening where she referred to Head as a "b----."

Head announced that he called off the couple's engagement and left Evans the night of the incident.

This is not the first time that Evans has faced legal problems. In January she was arrested in North Carolina for violating a domestic violence protective order.

Evans was bailed out of jail on $500, and she is scheduled to appear in court to face her latest charges on July 30, sources close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
