'Teen Wolf' season 5B spoilers: Fans to see return of 5 characters

In the second half of "Teen Wolf" season 5, characters from previous seasons are bound to make a comeback, as teased by series creator himself, Jeff Davis.

According to Davis, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) will be in the works for the reunion of his pack, in order to defeat enemies such as Theo Raeken (Cody Christian) and the Dread Doctors. He will then be needing some faces to return to Beacon Hills for a successful plan that could take down the villains.

In an interview with TV Line, Davis revealed that Kira Yukimura (Arden Cho) will be seen in episode 12. Kira left town with her family in season 5 to find herself and discover what the Dread Doctors really did to her as she has been having serious issues with her kitsume control powers.

Davis also hinted through Entertainment Weekly that Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) will be back in the mid-season finale titled "Status Asthmaticus." However, Davis was quick to clarify that he is not yet sure about the storyline for Derek in season 5B.

In a separate interview, the showrunner said Chris Argent (J.R. Bourne) will definitely be seen in season 5B. Chris was last seen in season 4 searching for his were-jaguar sister, Kate Argent (Jill Wagner). Davis noted that he asked Bourne to keep his beard for his character.

Another character that fans adored will be back: Dr. Gabriel Valack (Steven Brand). Fans were assured that the doctor will make an appearance in the premiere episode of season 5B.

Along with Valack's return, Davis also teased that fans just may see another side of the bad guy he seems to be. "He actually may be one of the good guys," he said.

Finally, Peter Hale (Ian Bohen) has been confirmed to return in the second half of season 5. Davis explained that fans will surely be interested in seeing the aftermath of Hale's special ward lock up saga where he shared the cell with Dr. Valack.

Teen Wolf season 5 comes to TV screens on January 2016.
