The 1975 Lead Singer Matt Healy Addresses Taylor Swift Dating Rumors

Are Taylor Swift and Matt Healy dating?

Last month, it was rumored that the "Shake It Off" singer was dating the lead singer of The 1975 and that they have exchanged numbers. Swift was even seen in several The 1975 concerts accompanied by her friends, and the singer was spotted wearing a The 1975 concert t-shirt on Nov. 19. Healy was also photographed wearing a 1989 t-shirt during one of his concerts in support of Swift's new album. Moreover, in an interview with the Daily Mail, Healy revealed that they exchanged numbers and said, "Let's see what happens, she's a sensation."

However, in an interview with Australia's 2DayFM, Healy addressed the dating rumors and said, "It's fake … It's a farce!"

"We met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do, and we spoke occasionally," he said. "She's the biggest pop star in the world. I'm in Australia. There's no relationship or anything happening. It's just funny how people really, really buy into that."

Though Healy said that "it didn't happen," he joked that "it would be amazing for me if it did."

After Healy was linked to Swift last year, the rocker said that people started comparing him to one of her exe s— Harry Styles.

"It was like with Harry Styles. There's nobody I know less on the planet than Harry Styles. There's nobody I've laid eyes on less in my life than Harry Styles. But because we were doing things — you have music, or whatever, hair, or whatever — people start talking about us … and then we were in the press," the rocker said.

"We were best friends, we were hanging out …Those things spiral out of control," Healy added.
