'The Affair' Season 2 Episode 8 Spoilers: Is Success Getting into Noah's Head?

Noah Solloway's (Dominic West) newly published book, "Descent," became a hit to the public, especially to women, and it appears that success is now getting into his head.

In the upcoming episode of "The Affair," a woman slips her number to Noah during his book signing, as seen in the sneak peek that was released. Helen (Maura Tierney) suddenly appears to the picture, and demanded her ex-husband to hand the paper with the fan's number over to her. Helen warned Noah that he is acting just like her father, Bruce (John Doman), while they were out for a drink in a bar.

International Business Times pointed out that the ex-married couple were still together when Noah cheated on Helen with Alison (Ruth Wilson), hence the title of the show. Alison, who is Noah's fiancée now, is also pregnant with his child, and is very much insecure about their current relationship as seen in the last episode.

Fans are curious to know whether Noah can stay true to Alison, now that there are a lot of women following the author. Viewers also noted the fact that Noah has a very attractive publicist, Eden (Brooke Lyons), who might possibly add more complication to the currently "strained" relationship of the author.

Meanwhile, Noah is also seen "attacking" one of his book critics in a bar. He calls out the critic for his comments on his latest book, and attempts to punch him in the face. Noah fails to harm the book critic, though, since his drunkenness will make him sloppy, and will miss hitting the man. A few spectators witness the scene, and one of the people at the bar will even take a video of the scene in her smartphone. It will be interesting to see how Noah's action will affect his book sales and his followers.
