Christian alternative band THE ALMOST premiered their latest music video "I'm Down" on ESPN this week in a fight themed video.
The video features Vitor Belfort, a former UFC light heavyweight champion who is currently ranked the No. 2 middleweight fighter in the world and along with fellow UFC fighter Cezar Ferreira, winner of "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil."
The music video was directed by Kevin Adamson.
The single, "I'm Down," will be one THE ALMOST's third studio album, Fear Inside Our Bones, which is now available on Tooth & Nail Records / RED Distribution, and can be purchased on iTunes.
The band consists of Aaron Gillespie [vocals], Jay Vilardi [guitars], Dusty Redmon [guitars], Jon Thompson [bass], and Joe Musten [drums].
Fear Inside Our Bones is a departure in sound for the group as perhaps their surroundings inspired the sound. The band recorded in Nashville's Omni Studios with producer Marshall Altman, and recorded the album in five days.
The "modernized blues-rock vibe" that is Fear Inside Our Bones, was released on June 11.
Gillespie was a founding member of Christian metal band Underoath, who have sold over 1.5 million records, and disbanded at the beginning of the year.
THE ALMOST released their debut album Southern Weather in 2007 on Tooth & Nail/Virgin, where it appeared on the Billboard Top 200 chart at #39 with 29,000 copies sold in its first week.
Its smash single was "Say This Sooner" which hit Top Ten at Alternative Radio and became the first of 10 Top Ten singles at Christian Rock Radio.
Monster, Monster was released in 2009 to critical acclaim.
Overall the group has sold over 300,000 records.
