'The Americans' Season 3 Spoilers, Cast News: Margo Martindale's Claudia Set to Return in the Show
Third season of the hit period TV drama series "The Americans" continues to offer intrigue and suspense for its fourth episode which will air this week titled "Dimebag."
A synopsis for the segment was posted on The Futon Critic revealing that Philip (Matthew Rhys) will face a "moral dilemma while developing an asset." The friction between him and Elizabeth (Keri Russell) will escalate to a degree that might endanger their already complex marriage life.
Meanwhile, Stan (Noah Emmerich) will come up with a theory which will eventually cause "serious repercussions for national security." Paige (Holly Taylor) on the other hand, will make a "surprising birthday wish." Could this wish involve her joining The Center?

In a report by MStarz.com they cited Russell's interview with Hitflix where she shed light about their daughter's imminent involvement with the cause.
"My immediate instinct was like, 'I feel like I'm turning my daughter out.' And they're like, "No, no, no, you would never assume that she would be a spy. You guys are one in a million. It would be that she would just be a part of the cause. Like, in an office job or a very low-level type of thing. And it would be years and years and years and years down the road.' It's just that you would have to get people ready for it," the actress said.
In relation to this issue, FranchiseHerald wrote that Margo Martindale's Claudia will return to shake things up between the Jennings in Season 3. Claudia was last seen telling the couple about The Center's desire to recruit Paige.
Not much has been revealed about the return of the deceptive Russian advisor but fans would certainly know that this won't be good news for the KGB undercovers.
"We couldn't be more thrilled and grateful for Margo's return as Claudia in the third season," showrunners Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields meanwhile informed TVLine.
For the meantime, "The Americans" Season 3 airs "Dimebag" this Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 10 p.m. on FX.
