'The Bachelor' 2015: Chris Soules the New Bachelor?

Although the new Bachelor for next year has not yet been confirmed by ABC, some are speculating that Chris Soules will be the one to give out the roses next year. Despite many rumors about other men in the running for the job, it seems that Soules, who was the third runner up on Andi Dorfman's season of the Bachelorette, could be the choice for "The Bachelor" 2015.

According to Bachelor and Bachelorette forums and surveys, Soules was a consistent fan favorite last season, and there have been a few hints that prove that he has or is close to inking a deal with ABC, Reality Steve reported.

Inquisitor previously reported that there have been plenty of unofficial confirmations regarding casting for the show. Other Bachelor and Bachelorette related people have likewise spilled the beans confirming Soules' being cast for the show. Cody Sattler, who was also in Dorfman's season, recently said that he was excited that Soules was in the next Bachelor.

Aside from Soules, there are others that are likewise rumored for the job. Apparently, Arie Luyendyk Jr. from Emily Maynard's season of "The Bachelorette" was in talks with producers as well as Marcus Grodd from Dorfman's season and "Bachelor in Paradise." WetPaint is also reporting that Dorfman's runner-up, Nick Viall, has been mentioned recently in connection to the show, and is being "strongly considered."

Reality Steve said the news will be officially announced "fairly soon." When asked if he thought Arie's name was mentioned for suspense, the site said that "it's possible."

"I don't really think … it's going to be him. From the day I posted the spoilers on May 13, I said this is Chris' gig to lose. And obviously he would want to do it. And obviously Chris does want to do it," the site continued.

'The Bachelor' 2015 is set to begin filming in September and the new season of the show will premiere next year.
