'The Bachelor' Season 20 News: Ben Broke Up with Jubilee

Ben Higgins sent Jubilee Sharpe home after a heartbreaking breakup.

Viewers can remember the two having a great time together during their first date two episodes ago, but Ben felt that Jubilee has pulled back after. Ben wrote a blog entry on People, and he revealed that he was starting to get concerned with Jubilee isolating herself from the rest, most of the time.

Ben said that Jubilee wasn't talking to him, especially her concerns or doubts about their relationship. "My biggest issue so far was that Jubilee wasn't communicating any of this to me at this point," Ben said. He also wrote that the war veteran chose to make side comments, instead of coming up to him directly. "Waiting for me to pull her aside and pull it out of her instead of coming to me and telling me there was an issue," he explained.

When Ben asked Jubilee aside during the cocktail party after the group date, Jubilee refused to hold Ben's hands. JoJo noticed what happened, and said "She just said, 'Let's not hold hands!'" According to Fox News, Ben was not happy with the way Jubilee acted, and hurtfully said "I just want to grab your hand…you pull away. How is that supposed to make me feel?"

Jubilee asked if there is still a future for them, Ben said that it will be unfair to say yes to her question. "I think it's best we say goodbye," Ben finally said. He gave her a final hug, and walked her out of the party. During her confessional, Jubilee was crying because of their breakup. "I'm like the most unlovable person in the world right now," she said while crying. Variety said that many were rooting for Jubilee this season, and many of her fans were saddened to see the tough, yet vulnerable war veteran go.
