'The Elder Scrolls Online' News: 'Morrowind' Expansion Expected to Introduce New Enemies, Learn More About Them

'Morrowind' expansion to be released for 'The Elder Scrolls Online' on June 6

Several new features are coming to "The Elder Scrolls Online" via the "Morrowind" expansion pack, and among those that players can expect to see are some more enemies.

Given that there is a new landmass set to be introduced, it should probably come as no surprise that these additional locations are also populated by different enemies.

In a recent post on the game's official website, developers talked about some of the monsters players may be able to see as they travel in the game with the "Morrowind" expansion already installed.

Players who take the trip to The Ashlands may find themselves battling Ash Hoppers and Cliff Striders. There are also Fetcherflies located nearby and particularly unlucky players may even find themselves having to deal with terrifying Hive Golems.

Venturing to The Grazelands – a seemingly more hospitable location – is apparently not all that helpful for players hoping to avoid enemies. This more scenic locale is home to fearsome creatures as well, with Nix-Oxen and Vvardvarks present here.

There are also Daedra known as Hunger who often reside within the Ancestral Tombs of the Grazelands, so "Elder Scrolls Online" players looking for a challenge may want to pay them a visit.

Another new enemy players can take on in combat is the Dwarven Colossus. Detailed in a separate post, the Dwarven Colossus is one enemy that players may be able to encounter while going through a new trial known as the Halls of Fabrication that will also be added via the "Morrowind" expansion.

The Dwarven Colossus is not one to be taken lightly, however, so players will need to be fully prepared before they go ahead and try to take down this titan.

"The Elder Scrolls Online" players will be able to face these enemies themselves as soon as the "Morrowind" expansion is officially released for the game on June 6.
