'The Expendables 3' Trailer Video Released: Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson Join the Explosive Action (WATCH)

"The Expendables 3" trailer video was released today and features plenty of shoot-'em-up action, more seasoned action stars, and an old enemy coming back for revenge. The sequel is the third and possibly final installment of the action-packed franchise.

"The Expendables 3" trailer video once features Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarznegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Terry Crews as the crew of ragtag mercenaries. This time, the group is up against the co-founder of the Expendables, played by Mel Gibson.

"We were close once. We started this whole Expendables thing together," says Gibson's character Conrad Stonebanks, who is now a merciless arms dealer. "But we had a falling out."

Joining the Expendables for the third movie in the franchise is Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford, UFC fighter Ronda Rousey and Kelsey Grammer.

Two younger mercenaries played by Kellan Lutz and Victor Ortiz are similar to the Expendables in the film, but the bad blood between Stallone's character and Stonebanks leads to their kidnapping.

"You shoulda killed me when you had the chance," Stonebanks says evilly. "You want the kids, come get 'em."

The trailer features plenty of explosive action, including busting Snipes' character out of prison, firing missiles into trucks and even a train vs. a helicopter in what should be an epic showdown. The first two "Expendables" movies didn't deliver, according to critics, but many fans are excited about more old-school action.

"The Expendables 3" will be released on August 14. To see the trailer video, click below.
