'The Last Ship' Season 2 News, Spoilers: British Rogue Sub Endangers USS Nathan James
This week's episode on TNT's hit post-apocalyptic maritime TV drama series "The Last Ship" is expected to blow the minds of fans as spoiler reports indicated that the Nathan James crew will be endangered due to an incoming attack from a rogue nuclear submarine.
The Latin Post report said that the episode titled "Achilles" will see the crew, along with the survivors from a hospital ship, facing the threats of a nuclear-powered sub led by a rogue British naval officer.
Citing the promo video released this week by the network, CDR Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) said that they are "both" on the hunt and on the run from the said powerful underwater vessel. It was further hinted that the mission of the rogue sub is to destroy the cure of the virus.

On related news, the cast and crew of the series were present during their Comic-Con panel this week. There are a lot of details being dropped off during the event and that includes a potential wedding.
Right over at Entertainment Weekly, the publication shared what executive producer Hank Steinberg hinted about the Danny (Travis Van Winkle) and Kara (Marissa Neitling) nuptial.
The actors playing the roles hoped for a ceremony on deck "with everyone in full Navy white." However, that "sappiest" scene might not take place.
"It did not survive on the [writers' room] board, but that doesn't' mean they're not gonna get married," the showrunner said. "It's just not going to be that way."
For the meantime, "The Last Ship" Season 2 Episode 5 airs this Sunday, July 12, at 9 p.m. on TNT.
