A lot has been going on around ever since the hit police procedural drama "The Mentalist" was picked up for its seventh season last May 10. Will this be the last chapter of the story about the people in California Bureau of Investigation and their undertakings?

"This is our 7th and final season. Looking at the scripts now, it's so fun and such a great season!" he tweeted.

Appearing on CBS since 2008, "The Mentalist" Season 7 will have brand new 13 episodes with which will premiere with "Nothing But Blue Skies" in a yet unannounced date.

Meanwhile, a spoiler from Unreality Primetime suggests that fans are going to finally meet two of Agent Teresa Lisbon's (Robin Tunney) brothers.

Lisbon previously met her younger brother Tommy Lisbon (Henry Thomas) in the show's fourth season and it revealed that the two don't quite get along well. Still disapproving of Tommy's job title, Lisbon's familial bond with her brother still prevails as she is shown trying to support him.

Apparently, TV Line revealed that the other two siblings will be called Jimmy and Stan. The site further said that Jimmy – the younger one – is a gambler who happens to witness a murder and is now sought by the feds.

Stan, meanwhile, is described to be of having a mild-mannered family man characteristic who may have some knowledge about his brother's doings.

On top of that, fans are also speculating whether or not the Lisbon-Jane romance will blossom out after Patrick (Simon Baker) confessed his feelings for Teresa before the latter boarded the plane to Washington.

They will have to find out when the show returns.
