The Next Mrs. Tom Cruise Already Selected by Scientologists? Yolanda Pecoraro Named Frontrunner

Tom Cruise set a record with his divorce to Katie Holmes, and sources are already speculating about who may soon take the title of Mrs. Tom Cruise. Actress Yolanda Pecoraro has been named as a frontrunner for her devotion to Scientology and former relationship with Cruise.

Pecoraro has been a life-long member of the Church of Scientology and her parents are also members of the organization. She reportedly began taking Scientology courses when she was 13 and is known as a "Scientology princess" due to her family's history within the organization.

Cruise and Pecoraro met in 2004 at the opening of a new Scientology center in Spain and briefly dated. The couple attended a soccer game in Madrid alongside Cruise's friends, David and Victoria Beckham and was photographed together. Pecoraro then worked with Cruise on "Mission Impossible," and the two have remained in touch.

"With the embarrassment his divorce has caused the church, they want to stabilize the situation," a source told The National Enquirer. "They also want to show that Tom has rebounded fast and that his new wife is beautiful and steeped in Scientology."

The Church is believed to have been responsible for the pairing of Cruise and Holmes and also the reason the couple split. Holmes allegedly wanted to raise the couple's daughter, Suri, in the Catholic tradition in which she was raised, instead of in Scientology. She asked for a divorce from Cruise and the couple settled the arrangement just last week.

Now, though, it is believed that the Church is already at work preparing a new woman to take Holmes' place. Scientology expert Margery Wakefield stated, "Tom's next marriage will be inside the church." His faith is incredibly important but has cost him two marriages. Ex-wife Nicole Kidman reportedly did not want to become a member, and the couple separated soon after.

There will be an incredible amount of pressure put on the next Mrs. Cruise, as the church will "certainly want her to have a child soon, so she could quickly be going from her modest apartment to a mansion in Beverly Hills with a baby on the way. And there's little doubt she'd do what's best for the church," the source revealed.
