'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7 News, Recap: Episode 8 'Tea With a Side of Squashed Beef' Look Back

Last Sunday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" sees NeNe, Porsha, Cynthia, and Kenya together as they attempt to settle their differences. Meanwhile, Kandi is still having trouble as she deals with her mother, and Phaedra prepares for single parenthood.

Kandi finally closed the deal on the new house for her mother, Mama Joyce, and they celebrate together with Kandi's aunts, Aunt Bertha and Aunt Nora. Though Mama Joyce is happy about her new house, she refuses to give Kandi a key, though her daughter bought the place for her.

"She's not giving me a key to her house because she doesn't have a key to mine," Kandi explains to her aunts. Meanwhile, Kandi is preoccupied with her new musical, "A Mother's Love." and she wants her mother and her aunts to have parts in it because some of the characters were inspired by them.

Later, Kandi tells her husband Todd about her idea but he's not thrilled about spending so much time with his mother in law. Since there's still tension between Todd and Mama Joyce, and Todd's mother Sharon is at odds with Joyce as well, he doesn't think that it will work. Todd thinks that Kandi's mom owes his mother an apology. He also tells Kandi that if her mother will be around for Thanksgiving, he'll be spending the day at his mother's place just to avoid conflict.

Phaedra joins her mother for lunch and they talk about Apollo's absence at home. She wants him to spend time with their sons before he goes to prison, but it seems as if he's more interested in partying than staying at home. In the end, Phaedra thinks that her life will be less stressful when Apollo leaves.

Meanwhile, NeNe invites Porsha, Cynthia and Kenya out for drinks to sort things out. NeNe tells Cynthia about her tendency to talk behind her back. But even though they disagree on many things, they admit that they still love each other like sisters and hug each other.

Cynthia is still upset with Porsha, and she feels that she is owed an apology. Kenya keeps on interrupting, which makes Porsha scream at her. Porsha and Cynthia agree to put their past behind them.

Then, Porsha and Kenya address their "beef," when, during the season 6 reunion show, Porsha attacked Kenya after Kenya provoked her. Porsha acknowledges her actions, but doesn't apologize. The two hug it out afterwards.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
