'The Real Housewives of Orange County' News: Season 10 Cast Rumors - 2 New Members Joining Show

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" is going strong as its well on its way towards the show's 10th season. The show is the very first installment of the entire Housewives franchise on Bravo, and it has been confirmed that regulars Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather DuBrow will be back. Season 9 newcomers Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador will be coming back for season 10 too. Gunvalson is the only cast member who has been with 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' since season 1.

Two new housewives will be joining the reality show, namely Meghan King Edmonds and Katie Chadwick Hamilton. The women are married to pro athletes. Edmonds is the wife of former MLB player and current Fox Sports announcer Jim Edmonds, while Hamilton is married to MLB player Josh Hamilton.

Another former housewife from the franchise will make her return as a "friend" in season 10. Original cast member Jeana Keough, who made quite an impression on the other housewives in the first five seasons of the series back in 2006 to 2011, took to Twitter to give fans a hint of her return to the show.

"Thinking about doing a little work on the OC Housewives this season," she wrote. "What do you think?"

Show veteran Gunvalson said that having new cast members is important to ensure that the show stays fresh and successful.

"I definitely think we have some room for some new cast members," she said to Us Weekly. "I think every season when we have brought somebody new in, it definitely has shifted it up a bit. Because people, although they want to follow your story, they also want to see new stories, and how we react to those new stories. So I think we've got room for some more."

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" is slated to return to Bravo later this year.
