'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Cast News, Episode Spoilers: Enzo's Connection With The Salvatore Discovered

There's going to be a lot of action and development as the sixth season of the hit supernatural TV drama series "The Vampire Diaries" continues this week with its brand new episode titled "I Could Never Love Like That."

For one, there's the issue involving the humanity-free duo, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola), who are now wreaking havoc at the entirety of Whitmore. This will force Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to come with risky plan which would involve Lily (guest star Annie Wersching).

Elena (Nina Dobrev) meanwhile discovers something about Jo (guest star Jodi O'Keefe) whom she helped with in the aftermath of the latest Stefan-Caroline killing spree incident. Jo is apparently pregnant and this will prompt Elena to reevaluate her own life as a vampire.

This week's episode will finally drop some big reveal involving Enzo (Michael Malarkey).

"We finally get to discover the truth about how Enzo was turned into a vampire, which is exciting," the actor told TV Line. "We have a little flashback episode which delves into all of that, and his connection to Lily Salvatore."

Fans were quick to speculate that Enzo is really a secret sibling to the Salvatore brothers. If this would turn out to be true, then this will definitely cause a huge impact among Enzo, Damon, and Stefan.

Malarkey meanwhile talked with Us Magazine to dish out some emotional behind-the-camera scenes.

Followers of the show may already know that this season would be the last for Dobrev. It was expectedly an emotional one for the cast and for the actress herself who has been in the series ever since it aired back in 2013.

"It's always going to be bittersweet when you lose someone in the ranks, but at the same time I think it's the right decision for her to make," the 31-year-old actor explained. "She made the decision ages ago. We kind of knew about it a while back. But especially at the table read through the last episode she definitely got choked up a couple of times. It was a real good community kind of moment at the table reading because everyone was there and there was a real buzz in the air."

"The Vampire Diaries" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
