The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Recap, Spoilers: 'Friendsgiving' at Whitmore College in 'Fade Into You'
On the previous episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 titled "Do You Remember the First Time," fans saw the return of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to Mystic Falls only to find out that Elena (Nina Dobrev) couldn't tap in fully to the memories she shared with the younger Salvatore.
Although there are some bits and pieces she could remember, it still wasn't enough for Elena to treat Damon the way they used to be. Damon gave up and dropped her off at her dormitory.
The Delena fans, however, weren't that disappointed in last week's showing. They still get to see the two sharing some intimate moments, although it was only from a flashback.

Executive producer Julie Plec talked with TV Line to dish out some information about the "Delena Rain Kiss: An Oral History" which rocked the TWD Twitter world.
"When Stefan got kidnapped in Season 1, Damon and Elena — who heretofore hadn't worked together much — had to go and rescue Stefan … from Frederick; it was raining and they're standing there talking to each other about rescuing Stefan," Plec recalled.
"It was going to be something beautiful and epic, so the rain was a way of us [honoring] this group of fans who spent five years begging for this one thing," the showrunner said. Plec went on to discuss the process that the crew went on to make the scene.
Moving on to this week's segment, spoiler reports indicated that there will be a "friendsgiving" at Whitmore college and that there will be flashbacks to Kai's dark past.
"As Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) prepare to host Friendsgiving at the dorm, they receive some hopeful news from Alaric (Matt Davis) and Stefan (Paul Wesley), who have traveled to Portland to gather some information regarding the Gemini Coven," the synposis reads.
Meanwhile, "Kai (guest star Chris Wood) makes a dangerous discovery that brings him one step closer to his release."
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 Episode 8 titled "Fade Into You," airs this Thursday, Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
