'The Walking Dead' Companion Show Plot Spoilers, News: Pilot Script Allegedly Leaked, Reveals Working Title

Recent reports indicated that the anticipated "The Walking Dead" spin-off series will unravel a very essential part of the zombie outbreak story which the original series hasn't told.

Bleeding Cool claimed to have managed to acquire a copy of the companion series' pilot script. As found out, the premiere episode will be called "Fear The Walking Dead."

"I want to dispel a rumor that these people are deceased … they are not. The dead do not walk among us," a CDC Virologist said.

What the script reveals is that the show "will begin around – or possibly before – the time the apocalypse begins," according to the publication. This also clearly suggests that the government still hasn't had any idea about this mysterious "walking dead" phenomenon.

VanityFair.com also shared their bit of speculation by pointing out how the main story started off with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) waking up from a coma. By the time he went out, zombies are already roaming around the world. This raised a question as to "what happened in all the time Rick was comatose?"

"That's the time period that will allegedly be covered in the spin-off. In other words, we're about to jump back in time to see how the world handled the zombie crisis while Rick was sleeping," VF said.

If these theories wouldn't be enough, a report from Entertainment Weekly previously quoted "The Walking Dead" creator and showrunner Robert Kirkman declaring that the upcoming series will take place in Los Angeles and that it would be a show "about family."

"It is all new characters, all new events and all kinds of crazy stuff," Kirkman added.

The still untitled "The Walking Dead" spinoff show is slated to premiere later this year.
