Avid fans of the comic book speculate that this could be referring to an iconic scene in the comic series. It was rumored that Jessie will see her death after trying to save her son. The scene from the comic series had Jessie holding on to her son, who fell into a group of walkers, while grasping Carl. Because of that, Rick ended up chopping Jessie's arm off, which caused her to fall into the walkers with her son.

Meanwhile, SFX Magazine also revealed some shocking details about the other characters of the series when they got a chance to visit the set. It was stated that Maggie and Carol will also have to deal with their own problems when the season returns.
