'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Episode 14: Buildup to 'Quantum Intense' Season Finale Begins on 'The Other Side'

The reluctant warrior, Carol (Melissa McBride), has finally decided to take a stand, while the erstwhile pacifist, Morgan (Lennie James), has also started sharpening his staff as the impending war against the Saviors approaches. And with the promise of the final three episodes being the current season's most exciting ones yet, is "The Walking Dead" about to see Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) ultimate downfall?

By the looks of it, the chaos might begin earlier than any of them could've expected. In the official trailer for the upcoming episode titled "The Other Side," the series picks up on the previous conversation between Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Rosita (Christian Serratos), both of whom have a personal bone to pick with Negan for killing Abraham (Michael Cudlitz). Rosita has provided the firearm, and Sasha has claimed the right to make the kill.

How far can their plan take them, and how much damage will they be able to make on the Saviors' overconfidence?

The trailer also shows the Saviors arriving at The Hilltop on their weekly supply run, which could spell trouble for Daryl (Norman Reedus), their former prisoner who has been hiding there. There is also a teaser scene of Sasha aiming her sniper gun at Negan. One shot could literally change everything, and missing could very well equate to her death. Is Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) crew about to lose one of its core members?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Scott M. Gimple teased that the final three episodes of the series will be bringing things to a head as the series approaches the highly acclaimed "All Out War" arc from the original "The Walking Dead" comic book series.

"We step on the gas and we do not let our foot off the gas until the end of episode 16," Gimple said, further adding that from here on out, the series will be taking its viewers through "a lot of big events" and that things are about to become "quantum intense."

"The Walking Dead" season 7 episode 14 airs on Sunday, March 19 at 9 p.m. EDT on AMC.
