"The Young and The Restless" spoilers, cast news: The big reveal of Gabriel as Adam Newman is finally unfolding

Reveals seem to be a main theme for soaps this week, and "The Young and The Restless" is no exception. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the involved character would apparently be Gabriel Bingham (Justin Hartley) who will be finally exposed as Adam Newman. This revelation has been brewing for a while, with many close calls occurring in the past. However, the one thing that will ultimately give away his identity away is the Paragon Project, in which the involvement of Ian (Ray Wise) becomes the main reason that it all fell apart.

Although Ian has been a major factor in the Paragon Project, it has always been Adam's baby. His fall will be of a domino effect kind which would start from Summer (Hunter King) recognizing Ian Ward, posing as "Fred" while talking to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Phyllis will figure out the truth and pass it on to Jack (Peter bergman) who will then team up with Kevin (Greg Rickaart) to put all the clues together about who can be behind the Paragon Project.

After tracking it down to Ian, the pressure will pile on Adam, as Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will also realize the events that had recently transpired and how Adam may have lied about the time when there was a brief blackout. She will confront Adam about Ian which will lead to her being furious at his, with apologies that would more likely need to be much more than words. It seems that Adam will be taken over by remorse, as Chelsea has had enough of his lies. Chelsea then turns to Phyllis, while Adam will go to Billy (Burgess Jenkins), who won't be too happy with him either and will end into him throwing a fit of rage over Adam's actions.
