Third Episode of Season 2 'Gotham' titled 'The Last Laugh' – Guess Who's Laughing
Episode 3 of Season 2 "Gotham" has a name that reminds us of the Joker. Titled "The Last Laugh," it features a face-off between the maniacal Jerome and Gordon. Jerome goes further into the tunnel of darkness, and the villains of Gotham City turns a children's gala into a hostage situation.
In Episode 2, Jerome Valeska, played by Cameron Monaghan, and his gang of criminal lunatics, 'The Maniax,' have tightened their stranglehold on Gotham City. Detectives Jim Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie, and Harvey Bullock, played by Donal Logue, will have to team up to stop the threat.
The official synopsis of "The Last Laugh" is as follows: "Gordon and Bullock track down a nemesis from the past, leading to a standoff between Jerome (guest-star Cameron Monaghan) and Gordon. Meanwhile, a magic show at the Gotham Children's Hospital gala turns into a hostage situation."

Gordon and Bullock team up to catch Jerome as they are on a personal mission. Jerome had killed their former Captain and new Police Commissioner Sarah Essen, played by Zabryna Guevara. But Jerome leaks out a strange gas that incapacitates the police officers. Laughing just like the Joker, Jerome tells Detective Gordon, "no one here is getting out alive."
In Season 1, Jerome had killed his mother and now, in the promo of the third episode, Jerome discovers his father's location and will try to kill him. Jerome will also be meeting Bruce Wayne as there is a scene where Jerome is holding Bruce Wayne and Alfred is holding a gun pointed at Jerome.
The villains from The Maniax, Theo and his sister Tabitha, will be present at a children's gala at the Gotham Children's Hospital. While a magic show is on, the gala turns into a hostage situation.
Cameron Monaghan has been superlative as the villain Jerome Valeska on "Gotham." His maniacal laugh and meanly-mouthed dialogues have led fans to speculate that Jerome might metamorphose into Joker.
