Tiffany Ava Mitchell, who fought with Lindsay Lohan earlier this week which led to her arrest for misdemeanor third-degree assault on Thursday, was hurt in the altercation and suffered injuries, according to her husband.
Husband Wayne Stevens has spoken out about Lohan's attack on his wife. He allegedly spoke to ABC News reporters through the intercom from the couple's New York apartment, according to the Inquisitr.
Stevens admitted that his wife was trying to avoid the spotlight from the recent fight she had with Lohan. He told ABC News: "We don't even want to leave the house at this moment … She's all swollen … Her cheek is swollen … She's pretty aggravated."
He added that he didn't know why Lohan attacked his wife, which took place at a New York City nightclub recently. He said that tensions "just escalated because someone else had a brawl."
He also claimed that Lohan "pushed [my] wife pretty hard."
He added: "I don't even know why she pushed her … And we didn't realize who it even was. Five minutes later, she comes around and tells my wife, 'If I need space,' and then she just punched her."
Lohan's assistant Gavin Doyle has offered support for the start, tweeting recently: "After bailing you out last night I HOPE and PRAY you get the help you so desperately need. We are ALL rooting for you. Xxx."
She also advised Lohan through a follow up tweet: "Life is NOT a movie it's a reality that needs to be faced."
