Tim Tebow News, Updates: Tebow Says He Just Wants to Enjoy the Process

The Tim Tebow baseball saga continues and he has finally made his spring training debut at the New York Mets training facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Tebow may not get a call-up from the minor leagues in the upcoming season, but he still managed to impress spectators by hitting nine home runs in four rounds of batting practice.

Tebow is still chasing the dream of playing in the big leagues, but he told reporters that his ultimate goal was to simply enjoy playing the game. "I'm not going to worry about what everyone's writing or however I'm being marketed. For me, I just want to be able to continue the process, enjoy the process, have fun out there," Tebow said, according to the New York Daily News.

He already tasted fame when he led the Florida Gators to two national championships and he won the Heisman Trophy in 2007. He also played for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets in the National Football League (NFL), so he's no stranger to the limelight. But sports is not his biggest calling. It's merely a platform for him to share his faith.

"I want to be someone that was known for bringing faith, hope and love to those needing brighter day in their darkest hour of need. I am so grateful for sports, because it's given me a platform to be able to share and love and care for people all over the world," Tebow said, according to USA Today.

For Tebow, faith is the important thing in his life. Not baseball. Not football. A lot of people may bash him and say that the whole baseball journey is a joke, but even if he fails to play in the majors Tebow can raise his head high because he has already touched a lot of lives thanks to his philanthropy. That's his legacy and it's greater than any sport.
