Titanfall DLC Release Date Pushed Back for Xbox 360

The upcoming Titanfall DLC release date will get pushed back for Xbox 360 owners.

Bluepoint Games confirmed on the Titanfall website that it wants to get the files once Respawn has finished with them so they're enhanced for the 360 version.

"Updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One," read an update. "Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version."

"We're working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn's updates," it added.

The update will be divided into two parts with the first containing the Gooser Challenge. Everything else will follow behind. Bluepoint is also working on the Expedition DLC which will be released for the Xbox One and PC later on this month.

New screenshots from the Expedition DLC were posted up by IGN.com earlier this month.

The pictures reveal some of the content that will be available with the new software release.

This extension was originally unveiled at PAX East. It will come with three new maps including Swampland, Runoff and War Games which can be seen in the picture gallery posted by IGN. Expedition will also give players the ability to customize their titan with decals. This allows them to give their character a more personal touch.

Other features with the update include player hash tags that can be used to identify, meet and group with other players.

Titanfall was released earlier this year. A second part to the game is rumored for release on the PS4.
